Clark Canoe Camp Archaeology Project 2011-2014
From 2011 to 2014, the Rochejhone Chapter in co-0peration with Montana State University Billing and the National Park Service led the archaeological project to locate the site where Clark camped on the Yellowstone River and constructed canoes to complete their journey back to the East. The Clark Canoe Camp Archaeology Project will be one of the central discussions of the 2017 Annual Meeting of the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation. Here is short video regarding that project.
